Privacy Policy

Who we are
Fluxscale Limited is the controller of personal data processed through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14247405. Our registered office is 27 Swanton Road, Dereham NR19 2HH.
This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Other websites in our network and products may have their own privacy policies.
Information we collect and why
- Website operation: our hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs to deliver and protect the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) processes information about pages visited, device and browser details, approximate location and interactions. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- Bookings and enquiries: if you follow our Calendly booking link, information you choose to submit, including your name, contact details and project information, is used to arrange a call and respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries where appropriate.
We do not sell your personal data or use this website's analytics for advertising.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics storage and all advertising storage and permissions are denied by default through Google Consent Mode v2. We do not load the GA4 tracking script until you accept. Accept enables analytics storage only; advertising permissions remain denied. Decline keeps optional analytics disabled.
We store your accepted or declined choice in your browser's localStorage so that we can honour it on subsequent visits. This preference is needed to remember your choice; it is not an analytics cookie. If you accept, GA4 may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits.
You can withdraw or change consent at any time using Cookie Preferences in the footer or the link below. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent. Clearing your browser storage removes the saved choice.
Calendly and external links
Our booking links open Calendly, a separate service. Calendly processes booking data and may use its own cookies according to its privacy notice. Our website's cookie choice does not control cookies on Calendly or other external websites. Booking information is shared with us so that we can arrange and conduct your call.
Links to Scalexa websites, Pulse, Xerod, Hackfiber and Legibl take you to their respective services. Please review the relevant privacy information before providing personal data.
Who receives data and international transfers
Personal data may be accessed by authorised people at Fluxscale Limited and service providers supporting website hosting, security, analytics and bookings. Google provides GA4 and Calendly provides booking services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Providers may process data outside the UK. Where applicable, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. You can request information about applicable safeguards through our booking link.
Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries and meeting legal obligations. Operational logs and analytics data follow the retention settings of the services used; booking and enquiry records are reviewed against ongoing business and legal needs. Your consent preference remains in your browser until it is changed or cleared.
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data and restrict access to those who need it. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests and receive certain data in a portable format. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time.
To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, book a call with Fluxscale. We may need to verify your identity and normally respond within one month, subject to the extensions permitted by law.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for information about your rights and making a complaint.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest version.
